Christmas Lilly!

Good morning, happy Friday and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MOI!! Today on the blog I’m back tracking to Christmas and sharing some of the beautiful Lilly items I got! I will later be working on another post about some of the other great items I received. I just figured Lilly deserved its own post. I wasn’t expecting all of this Lilly but I guess I’m easy to read and everyone did a great job when it came to shopping for me, so let’s have a look at all the pretty Lilly!

Lacquer Tray

Okay, so picked this item out myself. No particular reason but I knew I could make great use out of it, which I already have! I have it on my desk as an organizational item. I keep my chargers in it, any loose pens/papers/notes. Be creative! You can use it for anything and it looks great!

Tech Sleeve

I got this tech sleeve to go with my new macbook. It is so durable. Way more durable than I thought and when I finally held it in my hand to get a feel for it I was quite impressed. The padding is SO thick. Another thing that stood out to me other than the pretty print was the gold hardware. The hardware is of great quality and compliments the sleeve very nicely.

Passport Cover

Another great one! Yes, it says passport cover but it can be used as a little wallet as well! It has a place for credit cards and money. One of my favorite features of Lilly are the adorable quotes you find on certain items. This one is one of my favs! “Follow the Sun”so if Lilly says to… 😉

Foldable Sunglass Case

This one is amazing! Lilly amazing! Complete with another adorable quote of course! It can be used a number of different ways, which is cool! Titled as a foldable sunglass case and yes, yes it is.. but WAIT THERE’S MORE. It also folds down to a little wallet as well. Great for when you’re on the go and don’t need a full bag, just something to hold your necessities. There is even enough room for lipstick, which is obviously a total win!

Ceramic Travel Mug

And last but not least, this pretty ceramic travel mug. I was not able to link it because it is completely sold out on the website and I can see why. It’s so adorable! The gold cover is my favorite feature. It’s just so pretty and keeps your coffee nice and warm!

Anyone else get some Lilly for Christmas!?

Latest Lip Color OBSESSION

Happy Wednesday friends! Remember me? Just kidding! In case you haven’t noticed (due to my lack of posts) I’ve been a little MIA lately but not by my choosing. My schedule lately has just been insane, so bad that I haven’t even found time for an eyebrow wax but today is the day I woke up saying I will FINALLY share a lip color obsession of mine that I’ve been meaning to share for a month now..NO JOKE. So it’s time I put it out there!

Too Faced Melted matte in Queen B

I am absolutely in love with this lip color. It’s definitely my number one right now. The color Queen B is seriously such a beautiful shade of a natural looking pink tone. I wear this color everyday and get tons of compliments! It’s the most easiest wearable shade for anyone and any skin tone. The color goes on easily, like one coat kind of easy and slightly moist but QUICKLY dries on with an amazing matte finish!

Not only is the color an absolute fav of mine (well, and the name of the color of course ;)..) but out of all the other liquid matte lipsticks I own and have tried, I find Too Faced to be less drying, less flakey, and longer lasting than most. It goes on smooth, lasts all day..eating, drinking, you name it. The application brush also happens to be a favorite of mine. It’s a firm, spongy like applicator and makes the application process a much easier and more neater process.

Modern Renaissance By Anastasia Beverly Hills

Happy Saturday friends! First off I want to start off and apologize for my lack of posts lately. It’s that busy time of year again and I swear I have not had a minute to myself. Stick with me though! The blog is going to under go some major changes real soon. My boyfriend is gifting me with a MacBook for Christmas and I’m SO EXCITED to blog on the go and keep up with you guys daily!! But any who let’s get to today’s talk!

Modern Renaissance eye shadow palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills. Where do I begin is the real question. This palette is overwhelming but in a good way of course. The variety of eye shadow colours that come in this palette are all beautiful. There is a colour for wherever your going.

Let’s break down the colours

  • Tempera
  • Golden Ochre
  • Vermeer
  • Buon Fresco
  • Antique Bronze
  • Love Letter
  • Cyprus Umber

The first row of colours (Im taking this row by row) range from a couple natural shades to some dark shades. Too name a few of my favorites, Vermeer and Buon Fresco have been my go to’s everytime I use this palette. Love Letter is a beautiful colour but a little bit too dark and out there for me.

  • Raw Sienna
  • Burnt Orange
  • Primavera
  • Red Ochre
  • Venetian Red
  • Warm Taupe
  • Realgar

Again another row of beautiful colours. The second row has more of the colours that will probably never get used by me but they’re still beautiful just not my style. But I will say, I took one look at Venetian Red and immediately thought to myself I will NEVER wear that. Turns out I tried the colour on my skin and it’s actually quite subtle and not as dark as it always try before you overlook certain Colours. Primavera and Raw Sienna are my favorites from the second row of colours.

I am very pleased with this Palette. Anastasia never seems to disappoint. It comes with a doubled sided application brush and I cannot say enough good things about the brush. It’s soft and makes for easy application. Pick this Palette up at Sephora today for $42 and you will not regret!

Has anyone tried this palette before? What are some of your favorite colours!?
